Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center (MSMOC) invites a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our elite team in Oxford, MS. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-volume, turnkey practice within a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. As the Official Orthopaedic Team Physicians for Ole Miss Athletics, we offer the clinical autonomy of private practice combined with the robust operational support of U.S. Orthopaedic Partners (USOP). Step into a flourishing clinical environment where your expertise is met with immediate demand. Following the 2025 unification of Oxford Ortho and MSMOC, we have opened a flagship facility designed for peak orthopedic performance.
You will inherit a strong referral base and begin taking over an existing practice, ensuring a rapid ramp-up. Your practice will consist of a high-volume “bread and butter” hand caseload—including CMC arthroplasties and wrist arthritis—with the flexibility to incorporate complex nerve reconstruction and microsurgery based on your clinical interests. Surgical cases are performed at the Oxford Surgery Center (OSC), a premier facility completed in 2025 featuring the latest robotic technology and specialized orthopedic staff.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Fellowship in Hand Surgery.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery and Hand Surgery.
- Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Mississippi medical license.
