Job Summary
Are you a patient-focused Pediatric Hand Surgeon looking to elevate your academic career at a nationally recognized institution? Indiana University Health and Riley Hospital for Children are seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our world-class musculoskeletal team. Based at Indiana’s only nationally ranked children’s hospital, this role offers an elite balance of high-volume elective practice, upper extremity trauma care at a Level 1 Trauma Center, and extensive opportunities for cutting-edge research and clinical teaching.
Position Description
As a Pediatric Orthopedic Hand Surgeon at Riley Hospital for Children, you will collaborate with an internationally recognized, fellowship-trained team of clinical experts. You will step into a robust, high-volume regional referral center handling complex congenital, neuromuscular, and traumatic upper extremity cases from infancy through young adulthood.
This position features a designated academic appointment with the Indiana University School of Medicine. You will be actively involved in training the next generation of surgeons through the residency and fellowship programs, backed by comprehensive support for clinical or translational research.

Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a dedicated Pediatric Orthopedic or Hand/Upper Extremity Fellowship.
- Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).
- Eligible for an unrestricted Indiana medical license.
- Open to graduating residents/fellows, as well as experienced practicing physicians.
