Job Summary
Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a highly skilled, Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our interdisciplinary team in Central Pennsylvania. This role is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of patients recovering from motor vehicle and work-related neuro-musculoskeletal injuries. This is a premier opportunity for a surgeon seeking a predictable Monday–Friday schedule while making a profound impact on patient recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
As an Orthopedic Surgeon with Excelsia, you will serve as a clinical leader in personal injury and workers’ compensation care. You will navigate complex traumatic injuries, providing expert evaluations, recommending advanced diagnostic testing, and performing surgical interventions when necessary. You will work within a collaborative environment that prioritizes coordinated care—from initial evaluation through maximum medical improvement (MMI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans for occupational and motor vehicle injuries.
- Perform surgical procedures to restore function and quality of life.
- Recommend and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the extent of injury.
- Provide expert medical opinions on work-readiness and rehabilitation progress.
- Mentor and supervise clinical staff to ensure the highest standards of patient-centric care.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards within the personal injury landscape.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery is required.
- Active DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification.
- Favorable malpractice history and expertise in traumatic musculoskeletal injuries.
- Exceptional communication, tact in patient management, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to travel between our regional offices in Harrisburg, Reading, Lancaster, and York.
