Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center (MSMOC) is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our elite team in Oxford, MS. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-demand market and rapidly build a full-volume practice. As the Official Orthopaedic Team Physicians for Ole Miss Athletics, we offer a prestigious platform to maximize your clinical impact within a brand-new, 25,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility opening Fall 2025.
Join a collegial group of five surgeons and one non-operative specialist who have been the trusted pillars of the North Mississippi community since 1996. Following a strategic unification with U.S. Orthopaedic Partners (USOP), our Oxford practice is scaling to meet unprecedented patient demand.
Clinical Highlights:
- Cutting-Edge Infrastructure: Practice in a new facility featuring 28 exam rooms, dedicated procedure rooms, on-site physical therapy (5,000 sq. ft. gym), and a walk-in urgent care clinic.
- Surgical Innovation: Perform advanced procedures at the Oxford Surgery Center, fully equipped with robotic technology.
- Streamlined Workflow: Utilize ModMed EMR designed specifically for orthopedic efficiency.
- Flexible Call: Options for spine-only call or a mix of spine and general call—all with additional call pay and no trauma call, ensuring a premier work-life balance.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Fellowship in Orthopedic Spine Surgery.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE).
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Mississippi medical license.
