Ortho Northeast (ONE) is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established, high-volume clinic in Auburn, Indiana. This is a full-time, employed role within a premier, private practice model offering high operational autonomy and a turnkey practice environment. The incoming surgeon will step into a highly collaborative, “colleague-first” culture, inheriting an active patient base and taking over a replacement position for a departing physician.

 

Job Details & Description

  • Target Audience: Orthopedic and Spine Surgeons (Fellows, upcoming graduates, and experienced attendings are welcome to apply).
  • Location: 1316 East Seventh St., Auburn, IN 46706 (Primary Clinic Site).
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Employed (Private Practice Model with High Autonomy).

 

Operational & Clinical Structure

As part of our dedicated regional team, you will enjoy a structured, sustainable practice design geared toward maximizing surgical throughput and optimizing patient outcomes:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (No night or weekend office hours).
  • Patient Contact Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Patient Volume: Anticipated volume of 30 patients per day.
  • Clinical Support: You will directly oversee one (1) dedicated mid-level Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to assist with clinic flow, pre-op, and post-op care.
  • Turnkey Efficiency: Enjoy a centralized location equipped with on-site ancillary services for both the clinic and hospital. You will step into a high-performance clinical environment with an active, built-in primary care and subspecialty referral base.

 

Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency program. Fellowship training in a subspecialty (General, Spine, Sports, Trauma, or Adult Reconstructive) is highly preferred.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or equivalent.
  • Active license—or eligibility to obtain unrestricted licensure—to practice medicine in the State of Indiana.
  • Open to both seasoned attending surgeons and current fellows or residents preparing for upcoming graduation.
