Job Description & Responsibilities
As a faculty member within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, your practice will be primarily based at the prestigious SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. You will deliver top-tier inpatient, outpatient, and clinic-based care, covering everything from acute pediatric trauma to complex congenital pathologies.
- Clinical Excellence: Manage a diverse, high-volume caseload spanning the entire spectrum of pediatric orthopedic injuries, deformities, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Academic Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior faculty, orthopedic residents, and medical students from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
- Innovation & Research: Engage in collaborative clinical research, administrative leadership, and departmental development tailored to your specific professional interests.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with over 200 pediatric subspecialists across 60+ medical services to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
Position Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship.
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted medical license in the State of Missouri.
- A strong commitment to academic medicine, clinical safety, equity in healthcare, and collaborative team environments.
