The Iowa Clinic is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our rapidly growing, physician-owned musculoskeletal team in West Des Moines. This rare position offers a highly lucrative, zero-call schedule, direct access to a brand-new, MSK-focused Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), and an embedded referral network of 27 physical therapists and an occupational therapist. Description
As an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon at The Iowa Clinic, you will focus strictly on subspecialty hand and upper extremity care without the burden of general orthopedic or trauma call. You will collaborate closely with a robust, integrated team providing Sports Medicine, Hip/Knee Arthroplasty, and advanced hand services.
Our providers enjoy seamless, on-site infrastructure, including a state-of-the-art Medical Imaging department staffed by 9 dedicated imaging providers. Because we are a physician-owned and governed multi-specialty practice, our clinical decisions are entirely doctor-driven, allowing you to prioritize patient outcomes and exceptional quality of care.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited program.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery.
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted medical license in the State of Iowa.
- Excellent clinical and surgical skills, a collaborative mindset to work with integrated care teams, and a commitment to high-quality, value-based patient care.

- Financial Guarantee: $650,000 base salary/income guarantee.
