Job Summary
Virtua Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join Virtua Medical Group (VMG). This is a premier, full-time employment opportunity primarily based out of our established hospital facility in Mt. Holly, NJ. Description & Responsibilities
As an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon with Virtua Medical Group, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive trauma care within a highly collaborative, multi-specialty regional network.
- Clinical Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage complex acute orthopedic trauma injuries, fractures, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Location Focus: Primary inpatient and outpatient responsibilities will be based out of Virtua’s Mt. Holly hospital campus, with access to state-of-the-art surgical suites and diagnostic imaging.
- Continuum of Care: Partner with primary care, urgent care, physical therapy, and advanced health and wellness centers across Virtua’s ecosystem to optimize patient outcomes and experience.
- Community Impact: Serve patients of all backgrounds within a culture centered around empathy, clinical excellence, and relationship-building.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted medical license in the State of New Jersey.
- Excellent surgical acumen, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centric care and interdisciplinary teamwork.

- Base Salary: Starting salary of $580,000.00 (actual compensation package may vary based on experience, internal equity, and market data alignments).
