Job Summary

Endeavor Health and the Endeavor-Northshore Orthopedic Sports and Spine Institute are seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join the largest orthopedic group in the Chicago region.

In this role, you will join an established orthopedic team to meet growing patient demand in the Naperville and Elmhurst markets. As an integral part of the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance (CCHA)—a premier regional pediatric care network—you will enjoy a built-in referral network and comprehensive clinical support to quickly build a thriving, high-volume practice.

Job Description & Practice Environment

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to grow a busy general pediatric orthopedic surgical practice with the autonomy to cultivate advanced subspecialty interests in areas such as fracture care, sports medicine, clubfoot, hip dysplasia, or limb deformity.

  • Clinical Sites: Your primary practice and surgical locations will be Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital and Edward Hospital (Naperville). Surgeries requiring complex, PICU-level care are performed at Advocate Children’s Hospital.

  • Comprehensive Support Services: To ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient surgical workflows, your team includes:
    • Fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists
    • Fellowship-trained Radiologists
    • Child Life Services
    • Neonatologists & Pediatric Intensivists/Hospitalists
    • Dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) support
    • Full access to subspecialists across all pediatric medical and surgical disciplines within the broader CCHA network

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school (MD or DO).
  • Successful completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a dedicated Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Illinois.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary team care, and a dedication to delivering equitable, high-quality patient experiences.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $419,500 – $746,255
    (Determined based on FTE status, prior experience, certifications, subspecialty expertise, projected volumes, and quality performance measures).
