Whether your expertise lies in total joint arthroplasty, sports medicine, trauma, or spine surgery, this role offers the environment to build a prestigious practice in one of the nation’s most sought-after markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surgical Excellence: Perform orthopedic procedures within your credentialed scope (Joints, Sports, Trauma, Spine, etc.) using evidence-based pathways.
- Clinical Management: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, interpret advanced imaging, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborative Care: Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions from the OR to inpatient or outpatient rehab.
- Emergency Response: Participate in a fair call rotation for orthopedic emergencies and trauma at our acute care facility.
- Administrative Integrity: Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the EMR to ensure compliance and quality tracking.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Current, unrestricted Florida Medical License and DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS required; ATLS preferred for trauma coverage.
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty (Spine, Total Joints, Sports, or Trauma) is highly desirable.
