ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Monument Health Orthopedic & Specialty Hospital is seeking a highly skilled, Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon to join our rapidly growing team in Rapid City, South Dakota.

You will join an elite team of five (5) orthopedic surgeons in a busy, well-established practice to meet the booming medical demands of the scenic Mountain West region. The position offers an autonomous practice environment with immediate volume within a dedicated specialty hospital.

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Fully integrated practice model featuring a specialty hospital, multi-specialty clinic, Physiatry, Pain Management, and Podiatry.
  • Direct access to Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, a 417-bed regional tertiary referral center and Level 2 Trauma Center.
  • State-of-the-art surgical suites, advanced imaging, and top-tier clinical support teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide comprehensive operative and non-operative care for a wide spectrum of foot and ankle pathologies.
  • Collaborate seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in a equitable and manageable call schedule.
  • Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records (EMR) in accordance with hospital compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Completion of an accredited Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Fellowship.
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted South Dakota medical license and DEA registration.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered, collaborative approach to care.
